How It All Began
In 2015, a small group of believers began gathering with a shared desire to grow in God’s Word and live out the gospel faithfully.
Under the founding leadership of Rev. M. Lazarus, the church was established with a strong commitment to biblical truth and Reformed theology.
Over the years, Calvary Reformed Church has grown into a Christ-centered community, devoted to sound teaching, genuine fellowship, and reaching the city with the good news of Jesus Christ.

We envision the congregation to be transformed by the power of the gospel, where lives are renewed, families are restored, and communities reflect the glory of God.
Mission
To glorify God by making disciples who make disciples
We pursue this through faithful preaching of the Word, intentional community, and equipping believers to live out the gospel in every area of life.

What We Believe
Our convictions are drawn from Scripture and expressed in the historic Reformed confessions. These are not merely statements — they shape everything we believe, teach, and practice as a church.
The Authority of Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word of God. It is the final authority in all matters of faith and life, revealing God’s will clearly and faithfully.
Salvation by Grace Alone
We believe that salvation is entirely by God’s grace, through faith in Jesus Christ alone. It is not earned by works but is a free gift secured by Christ’s finished work on the cross.
The Sovereignty of God
We believe that God reigns supremely over all creation. He governs all things according to His perfect will, for His glory and the good of His people.
The Centrality of the Church
We believe the local church is God’s appointed means for worship, discipleship, and mission. Through the church, believers grow in faith, serve one another, and proclaim the gospel.
Independent Reformed
Calvary Reformed Church is an independent Reformed congregation — meaning we are not formally affiliated with a larger denomination, but we stand firmly in the historic Reformed tradition, holding to the Five Solas and the doctrines of grace as expressed in the Westminster Standards.
Our independence allows us to be deeply rooted in our local context while maintaining accountability through our elder board and fellowship with like-minded churches across the World.
